Hawaii Seeks to Amend Cruelty Law After Woman Bludgeons Peacock
Hawaii Senate decided to reevaluate the state´s animal cruelty laws, because a woman named Sandra Maloney´s, hit a wild peacock with a baseball bat, because the animal was annoying. The ground around Ms. Maloney´s property, it have been the home of peacocks. Apparently she ¨engaged in one of her peacocks harassment sessions¨1, and there was an stubborn peafowl that did not kept away from the barbecue , and he was resting on Ms. Maloney, so she grabbed him, and hit him on his head with a baseball bat. Victory! Utah's Homeless Pets Will No Longer Be Sold for Experimentation by Maggie Marton
People are practicing biomedical experimentation with animals. In some cases animals were used in harmful and potentially deadly intubation exercises that involved having hard plastic tubes shoved down their throats. After many emails from Change.org members, homeless pets entrusted to the North Utah Valley Animal Shelter will no longer be sold for biomedical experimentation. Now, after many campaigns the inhumane practice finally has come to an end. The law that passed in 2010 made "pound seizure" discretionary, and all shelters except NUVAS abandoned the cruel practice. Thomas Parks told that NUVAS didn't want to give up in the face of pressure but "really, they've been doing this on our behalf." Thanks to Change.org members, PETA and local activists, stray dogs and cats in the care of NUVAS no longer will be sold for cruel and often deadly biomedical experimentation.

Eating meat could be a healthy diet too. Fitness for Women,concludes that meat plays an important role in a healthy diet. Any vegetarian can tell you that those vitamins and nutrients can be easily obtained in a meat-free diet without any problems, but Fitnees for women publish a link to meatandhealthy.com that says that meat "contains many of the nutrients essential for good health and well-being, as well as for healthy growth and development in children."Vegetarian people say that it isn`t essential, that they can have a healthy diet without meat and may provide benefits of preventing of certain deseases, but the connections between animal agriculture and environmental destruction are very well researched, as are the negative health effects of red meat. Campaign to Save Alice (The Dog in the Box) Gains Momentum With CNN Interview, Rally

You may know Alice as "the dog in the box," a pit bull in Toombs County, Georgia, who was found living in squalor in a makeshift box of wood slats and sheets of tin. Velez-Mitchell said, "We're talking about one dog here, and she's symbolic, however, of what's happening all over the country." And what's happening is that animals like Alice are suffering and cruelty laws are either non-existant or not being enforced. Despite the lack of tears and cold sweats, when SoCo Rescue was finally able to obtain a copy of the receipt from Alice's long overdue vet appointment, it was confirmed that she does have heartworm, which is fatal if untreated. The receipt doesn't show that any medication was purchased. Although Alice has been upgraded to a cleaner chain link kennel with a dog house, Southern Comfort Rescue says it's not good enough. She'll bake out there in the summer. She needs an independent veterinary evaluation (which Alice's owner has refused despite (they are worried because of alice healthy and see that her owner is neglectinher are afraid of what may happen to her) SoCo Rescue's offer to pay) and heartworm treatment. And officials can't forget that a crime was committed. Alice's advocates aren't giving up. On Wednesday, March 16th at 4pm, a peaceful rally will be held outside the Toombs County Courthouse in Lyons, Georgia. SoCo Rescue wants Judge to allow a hearing on Alice's case and to have her turned over to a reputable state-licensed rescue pending the outcome. NC Animal Welfare Could Fall Victim to Budget Cuts by Martin Matheny • March 15, 2011 The North Carolina Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler is thinking to eliminate his department´s entire Animal Welfare Division (responsible to oversee local animal shelters, breeders, pet stores and rescue groups) in order to make his budget numbers work out. Every year state legislators have to reduce their budgets between 4 and 8 percent and as a result a lot of social programs have drastic cuts. Animal welfare activists are against it because people responsible for inspecting and investigating how animals are treated will not have jobs. This is a fiscally irresponsible and bad policy; there are government´s priorities by what they choose to spend (and not spend) the taxpayers´ dollars on. In North Carolina´s case, they have a chance to show voters that protecting companion animals is important by finding a way to keep the Animal Welfare Division open. The cellphone has been more than a cellphone for years, but soon it could take on an entirely new role — standing in for all of the credit and debit cards crammed into wallets. While almost every cellphone around the sea is modified for this feature, the Wallets Corporation has a lower amount of clients. This company demands for some investments from this new feature for the cellphones.
People already solve this problem, giving a small fee for every time someone swipes this ‘’credit card’’ which is given out through the different companies of banks and technology uses. There are also some problems that would be the competition. This competition is from Visa and Master Card, which still provides the services of a credit card online paying from your house or any residence with a computer. Pay-Pal and Google are involucrate too. They want to try a new payment system for the commoners, and in this way, get a better communication system between the client and the officer.
Consumers don’t even know how the fees work, states Jan Chipchase, which works with this cause. The bankers and different companies are talking throughout the different years, and now concluded that this way would be the best for an online transaction for the welfare of the consumers.

The government of the United States after defending the food with colorant and artificial thing, for his first time they have said publicly reassessing whether foods like Jell O, Lucky Charms cereal and Minute Maid Lemonade, should have some warnings that came with them saying the uses, or the preparing of this aliments with artificial coloring should develop behavior problems such as the hyperactivity in children. The government would ask to change the policy which includes the warning levels in food.
